Our Story
Artists’ Dover Studio was created as a space for creativity, connection and community. Nestled in the heart of Dover, the studio brings together artists, makers, writers and curious beginners through workshops, exhibitions, creative residencies and shared experiences.
What began as a simple idea has gradually grown into a welcoming creative hub designed to make art feel accessible, social and deeply human. The studio was built with the belief that creativity should not feel intimidating or exclusive, but something people can return to throughout every stage of life.
Today, the space hosts a growing programme of workshops, collaborative projects and community-led creative experiences, while continuing to evolve alongside the people who walk through its doors.
Our Ethos
We believe creativity belongs to everyone.
At Artists’ Dover Studio, we value process over perfection and connection over performance. Our workshops are designed to feel relaxed, thoughtful and welcoming, offering people the opportunity to slow down, explore new mediums and reconnect with themselves creatively.
Alongside our public workshops, we also work with local businesses, schools, charities and community groups to create meaningful creative experiences that support wellbeing, confidence and self-expression. Whether someone joins us for a single evening or becomes part of the studio long term, we hope the space feels inspiring, grounding and full of possibility.
The Team
Artists’ Dover Studio is led by a small creative team passionate about building accessible and inspiring artistic spaces.
Founded by Zee, the studio was created with the vision of bringing together creativity, community and conversation under one roof. Alongside resident creatives Nina and Jeri, the studio continues to grow through collaborative workshops, exhibitions and carefully curated creative programming.
Together, the team brings a mix of artistic disciplines, lived experience and community-centred creativity to the studio. Their shared approach focuses on creating experiences that feel warm, welcoming and creatively fulfilling for both emerging and established artists alike.
Kind Words From Our Community
Since opening in October 2025, every review shared for Artists’ Dover Studio has been five stars.
